The white marble top with a three-quarter pierced gallery above three frieze drawers, the cylinder opening in conjunction with a black leather-lined writing surface, each side with a writing slide; with four drawers around a kneehole, raised on round tapered brass-fluted legs ending in toupie sabots fitted with casters.

Late 18th century.

In solid Cuban mahogany, a wood that has been completely deforested. With tapered, fluted legs terminating in casters. Extends with original mechanism to twenty-three feet, seating for thirty people. Late 18th century from Ile de France (region of Paris).
