Louis XVI Antiques

			Rare, French, Neoclassical, extension dining table (Item No. 598) In solid Cuban mahogany, a wood that has been completely deforested. With tapered, fluted legs terminating in casters. Extends with original mechanism to twenty-three feet, seating for thirty people. Late 18th century from Ile de France (region of Paris). 29" high by 53" round when drop leaves are up, extending up to 23' (276").

			French, Neoclassical, period armoire de chasse (Item No. 596) A very unusual form, most likely from a hunting lodge in Southwestern France. In solid, carved cherry with additional storage cabinets on either side (see photo number three), which were used to store hunting gear. Late 18th century. 93" high by 72" wide by 23" deep

			French, Louis XVI period, Provençal buffet de chasse (Item No. 592) In solid, carved walnut with gray marble top having fluted, chamfered corners and pierced bottom apron comprised of garlands, ribbons, and bows. Late 18th century. 66" wide by 28½" deep by 39" high

			Pair of Venetian, Neoclassical Gondola lanterns (Item No. 565) Mounted on poles. With largely original polychrome surface. Late 18th century. Lanterns without poles are 36" high by 12" wide. Poles are 58" high.

			French, Louis XVI style, bronze d'ore lantern (Item No. 499) With garland and urn motif characteristic of the Louis XVI style. Electrified. 19th century. 30" high by 21" diameter

			French, Louis XVI period "commode/scriban" (slant-top secretary) (Item No. 350) In walnut, with kingwood banding outlined with satinwood and ebony stringing. 18th century. 32¼" wide by 19" deep by 40½" high

			French, Louis XVI style commode (Item No. 347) In flame mahogany with Breche violet marble top. Late 19th century. 45½ wide by 22½ deep by 35½ high

			Louis XVI period tall case clock (Item No. 303) From Normandy in blond oak with brass and pewter face. Adorned with carved ribbons, bows, torcheres and urns characteristic of the Louis XVI period. 18th century.

			Pair of Italian, painted corner cabinets (Item No. 285) Two 19th century, Italian, Neo-classical corner cabinets with polychrome finish. 51" high by 29" wide by 17" deep (at center)

			French, Louis XVI style, demi-lune fold-over table (Item No. 164) Opens to a 54" round in solid walnut with rosewood banding around the apron, bronze florets above each leg and brass capped feet. 19th century. 32" high by 52" diameter (open)

			French Provençal, Louis XVI style desk (Item No. 113) Carved cherry with four drawers on each side. 19th century. 52½" long by 34½" wide by 30" high
