The stepped arched cornice over a floral vine carved frieze and two arched paneled doors above a pierced C-scroll and leaf carved apron raised on leaf carved cabriole legs. From Bordeaux, France. 18th century.

Each with foliate carved, channelled frame and carved, giltwood entertrotoise (stretchers). Legs terminating in pied de sabots. Each chair applied with a paper label to the underside:

The pair of paneled doors decorated with antheniennes on pedestals surrounded by polychrome Vitruvian scrolled vines and feathers within a carved egg and dart and bead carved frame; the overdoor panel with similar decoration within a grapevine carved door surround with a scrolled leaf border. Probably Provence. Late 18th century.
