			Very fine Louis XV gilt bronze mounted kingwood bureau plat and cartonnier (Item No. 942) The cartonnier with circular white enameled dial signed "Masson a Paris", with roman hour markers and arabic minutes, above a case surmounted by a gilt-bronze monkey and enclosing six pigeon-holes, four containing tooled red morocco leather removable drawers, raised on scroll feet, the underside bearing the stamped initials "L V E " with an iron cross between the L and the V; the bureau plat with gilt-tooled red leather insert with a gilt bronze banded edge and scallop shells at corners, above five drawers, raised on cabriole legs mounted with chutes and terminating in sabots. Mid-18th century, the bureau plat stamped migeon, the cartonnier dial signed masson. Provenance: Property of a Pensylvannia collector. Bureau plat: 29" high by 88" wide by 44¾"deep Clock: 37" high

			Rare, French Provencal coiffeuse perruquière (wig vanity) (Item No. 938) In solid, carved walnut with three, hinged panels opening to reveal five interior compartments designed to store wigs, the center panel inset with a miror. First half of the 19th century.

			Very fine French, Neoclassical style, brass-mounted bureau plat (Item No. 937) In solid mahogany with flame mahogany veneers, tapered, fluted legs terminating above elegant brass mounts, original hand-tooled leather, five drawers, and tirets (pull-out surfaces) on both sides. Circa 1830. 64" wide (94" with both tirets extended) by 31" deep by 30" high

Circa 1780. Stamped "E. AVRIL JME". (Etienne Avril, Master 1774, was a principle supplier of furniture to Marie Antoinette at the Château de Saint-Cloud.) 58" wide by 35" high by 18" deep

			Set of Eight French, Art Nouveau period tall-back dining chairs (Item No. 926) In solid, carved walnut in the manner of Louis Majorelle with carved floral crest, V-shaped upholstered backsplat, and seat in red leather with brass tacks. Shaped legs with conforming floral decoration. Circa 1900. 40½" tall (at back)

			Fine, French, Louis XV style chinoiserie sauteuse sans traverse (two drawer commode) (Item No. 924) In black lacquer, gilt-bronze mounted, painted and parcel-gilded; in the bombé form with veined marble top. 19th century.

			Pair of Napoleon III period (Neoclassical style), gilt bronze and porcelain three arm sconces (Item No. 923) With porcelain medallion depicting a satyr and a woman holding a goat flanking an athenienne (a small, decorative, tripod stand characteristic of the French Neoclassical and Empire periods).
