			Very fine, French provincial, Louis XV period secretaire en bibliotheque (Item No. 872) From Southwestern France bearing the "Croix de Malte" in marquetry and with chapeau de gendarme cornice and arbalette façade on the drawers of the bottom compartment. Mid-18th century. 98½" high by 44¾" wide by 22½" deep

			Catalan, Baroque period, marquetry-inlaid, slant-front bureau (Item No. 816) In walnut veneer with boxwood inlay, monogram surmounted by a crown. Two small external drawers above three long drawers, with an additional six interior drawers behind fold-down writing compartment. First half of the 18th century. 49½" high by 46" wide by 23½" deep

			Fine, English, George I style, chinoiserie, fall-front secretary (Item No. 915) In black lacquer, painted and parcel gilded. Late 19th or early 20th century.

			Fine, Italian, Rococo style, polychrome-painted and laca povera bureau bookcase (Item No. 857) Late 19th or early 20th century. 93½" high by 42" wide by 21" deep

			Spanish, iron-mounted, polychrome, parcel-gilt and bone-inlaid Vargueño (travelling trunk on stand) (Item No. 821) In solid, carved walnut. 17th century. The rectangular case enclosing fourteen drawers and two cupboard doors, on a later walnut stand fitted with two small drawers and with later carved embellishments. 59½" high by by 47¾" wide by 17½" deep

			Italian, painted, lacca contrafatta, and parcel-gilt secretaire bookcase (Item No. 586) Mid 18th century. 91" high by 48½" wide by 21¼" deep

			Italian, Louis XV period, inlaid secretary (Item No. 781) In walnut and fruitwood with slant-front stand in two parts, the upper part with arched molded cornice above a pair of cupboard doors; the slant front enclosing a fitted interior above a frieze drawer, raised on cabriole legs; inlaid to form foliate scrolls and flowerheads. From Piedmont. Mid-18th century. 87" tall by 52½" wide by 26" deep

			Italian, Louis XV period, painted scriban (Item No. 761) With double chapeau de gendarme cornice and fold-down writing surface. Upper compartment comprised of two doors which open to reveal six drawers. Bottom, fold-down writing compartment opens to reveal five additional drawers. Mid-18th century. 48" wide by 24" deep (37" deep open) by 82" high

			Louis XV style, chinoiserie secretary ("dos d'ane") (Item No. 394) Painted and gilded with black lacquer base. Late 18th or early 19th century. 29" wide by 18" deep by 38" high

			Important, French, Louis XV-Louis XVI Transition period scriban (Item No. 525) From the port city of Nantes. In solid, carved acacia (mimosa tree). Third quarter of the 18th century.

			Louis XV style, chinoiserie commode scriban (Item No. 439) Gilded and painted with ivory inlay. 19th century. 38" wide by 20" deep (when closed) 35" (when opened) 43½" high

			French, Louis XVI period "commode/scriban" (slant-top secretary) (Item No. 350) In walnut, with kingwood banding outlined with satinwood and ebony stringing. 18th century. 32¼" wide by 19" deep by 40½" high
