Pair of French, Jacob period, painted and parcel-gilded fauteuils (Item No. 720) One of identical pair shown. Stamped "Jacob Freres Rue Meslee." Circa 1800. Provenance: Collection of Old Versailles New York, New York Dimensions: 35½" high (at back) 18" (at seat) by 22" deep by 21½" wide Rare, French, Jacob period tric-trac table (Item No. 686) Gold-embossed leather writing surface, which reverses to a green felt card-playing surface. Inside reveals original ebony and ivory inlaid backgammon board. Matching, white and green-tinted ivory pieces. Early 19th century. Dimensions: 44½" by 22¼" by 29½" high Extraordinary, Jacob period, drop-leaf banquet table (Item No. 650) In solid walnut with turned legs ending in brass castors. Fourteen center legs, seventeen original leaves in stained pine. Closed, 63" diameter seats 10-12; seats 45 people when fully opened with original extension mechanism to 32 foot length. Early 19th century. Dimensions: 63" diameter (closed), 32' long fully extended.
