Very fine, Regency period, brass inlaid, rosewood center table (Item No. 847) The circular tilt top with elaborate arabesque banding, finely molded apron, foliate carved and turned rosewood grained stem, incurvate triangular plinth, brass scroll feet, casters. Circa 1805. Literature: see Margaret Jourdain's definitive book, Regency Furniture: 1795-1830 (revised by Ralph Fastnedge, 1965) illustrates a high-style rosewood center table with similar lobed pedestal, gadrooned collar and extensive brass inlay closely related to that on this lot, page 73, fig. 162. Dimensions: 29" high by 48¼" diameter Edwardian, painted satinwood small sideboard (Item No. 846) The top of serpentine outline painted with a musical trophy and floral garlands above a center drawer fitted for cutlery, flanked by a cupboard door and a deep drawer all painted with garlands and trophies, raised on square tapered legs ending in spade feet painted with bell flower trails. First quarter of the 20th century. Dimensions: 36" high by 53½" wide by 25½" deep George III period, oval, carved giltwood mirror (Item No. 845) With pierced framework carved with rose branches and husk swags amidst s and c-scrolls and surmounted by ho ho birds at the shoulders, centering a tiered scrollwork crest. Late 18th or early 19th century. Dimensions: 62" high by 39&rac12;" wide Pair of George III style gilt-wood girandoles (Item No. 560) Each cartouche-form mirror plate within a conforming leafage and floral-carved frame with rocaille and floral crest, supporting four scrolling candle arms cresting in later sockets. Dimensions: 57" high by 33" wide Very fine, George III period, chinoiserie paravent (folding screen) (Item No. 833) In black lacquer with gilt bronze trim and painted and parcel-gilded scenes. Late 18th century. Fine set of eight George III, satinwood and painted dining chairs (Item No. 814) Comprised of two armchairs and six sidechairs, each with a shield shaped backrest, the splat painted with a flower filled urn, surrounded by foliate trails, above a padded seat, the rails painted with drapery, raised on square tapered legs. Dimensions: 32" tall by 27½" diameter George III period, chair-back settee (Item No. 506) In mahogany with slightly curved, five shield-form backrest, each with bellflower and white carved splat continuing to downward sloping arm rests and supports, above a padded seat, raised on rosette capped fluted straight tapering legs ending in spade feet. 18th century.
